Company History

In 1996, a vision took shape from the heart of Bhachu Industries Limited (BIL) — the region’s leading trailer manufacturer. During its growth, the founders recognized a pressing need for reliable, high-quality steel products that builders and fabricators across the region could truly depend on. Out of this need, and through the innovative idea of reusing and recycling waste metal from BIL’s own operations, Accurate Steel Mills Limited (ACC) was incorporated in 1997.

What began from an idea soon transformed into one of Kenya’s most trusted names in steel manufacturing. Starting with just 80 employees, ACC set out to redefine industry standards guided by its unwavering promise of accuracy, quality, and reliability. 

Over the years, the company has grown exponentially, now employing over 600 dedicated workers and serving the entire construction and fabrication sectors with an expansive product range.

Under the third generation of Bhachu family leadership, ACC has not only modernized its operations but also expanded its footprint across the East and Central African markets, strengthening its reputation as a regional symbol of excellence and earning the East African Choice Superbrands status. Today, ACC stands tall — known not just for the strength of its products, but for the purpose and heart behind them, serving both the industry and the community.
